1934 Rocket Mail cover fired from Sauger Island Semaphore Station lLghthouse towards SS Kutsang (fell short and was retrieved). Cover has 'clock' 17th Dec Saugor Island mark just touching Shore to Ship Rocket label and 9p. GV stamp with Calcutta mark for December 18th. Signed by Stephen Smith on reverse and by W. Shenton the Lighthouse keeper on front. Clean cover, 260 carried.
