Selling

We shall be pleased to receive any material you may wish to offer for sale.

Suitable lots with an estimated value of £20+  can be entered in our next available auction.

All material submitted is covered by our insurance.

Outright cash purchases can also be offered in some cases.

The closing date for entries for our SEPTEMBER 25TH sale will be AUGUST 25TH 2010.

COMMISSION AND CHARGES

Commission is charged at 15% (plus VAT @ 17.5) of the hammer price with a minimum commission charge of £3 per lot.

Each lot is subject to a lotting fee of 50p and unsold lots (reserved by the vendor) are charged at £1 per item.

No charge is made for insurance. 

Trade terms are available on request.

RESERVES

The vendor is entitled to place reserves on his lots,  however these must not exceed the estimated value as stated in the auction catalogue.

Reserves can only by accepted by us in writing and must reach us at least three days before the sale date.

If supplying us with reserves at the time of submitting the items these reserves would have been noted and it is not essential to confirm these.

All lots are reserved by the Auctioneer at 50% of the estimate.

PAYMENT TO VENDORS

We pay vendors for lots sold 42 days after the sale.

Where an extension has been granted for expertisation of an item this will be extended until a result has been received.
